It is most important that all items of clothing and other personal property should be clearly marked and checked periodically to see that names have not been erased. Neither the school or the River Learning Trust can accept responsibility for personal property left on the premises.
Any money for payment to the school should be handed in to the class teacher at the beginning of the day in a clearly labelled envelope. Otherwise money should not be brought to school.
Children should not bring toys to school unless they enhance the topic currently being studied; for example, a Lego castle for a study on castles. In any event, toy guns are not allowed in school. For playtimes children may bring a soft ball, a skipping rope or a safe game to play with but must be responsible for looking after it.
