Headteacher’s Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

I would like to offer you and your family a very warm welcome to Beckley Church of England Primary, a school offering an excellent education. Beckley School provides a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment where Christian values are embraced by all. We have high expectations and our ethos both encourages and promotes an atmosphere where children can be themselves and achieve their very best.

With approximately 130 children on roll, we serve the villages of Beckley, Elsfield, Horton-cum-Studley, Stanton St John and Forest Hill. We also attract children from Headington and other areas of Oxford. Beckley itself is situated six miles north east of Oxford. Our school lies in a quiet lane close to the Parish Church and is surrounded by picturesque countryside.

Although the website provides plenty of information, there is no substitute to experiencing Beckley first hand, by visiting the school to see the children and staff at work. Please contact the office and make an appointment for a tour of the school.

I look forward to welcoming you to Beckley.

Our School Prayer

This is our school
Let peace dwell here
Let the room be full of contentment
Let love be here
Love of one another
Love of mankind
And love of God
Let us remember
That as many hands build a house
So many hearts make a school
